Every year we celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8. The theme for this year is “#EachforEqual”. The focus of the theme is to promote “gender-equal government, gender-equal media coverage, gender equality in health and wealth.” But as women we must be careful not to compare standard of equality to men because we as women have our own dignity, and unique identity such as tenderness, patience, and motherhood. When women believe that they must be equal to men, this is a dangerous belief because we measure our standards to men.
