As we celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023, I wonder if some women have different view about Women’s Day. Then I came across Madhavi Pothukuchi’s writing titled “Why We Shouldn’t Celebrate Women’s Day the Way We Are Now & Observe It Instead.” She wrote “The commercialisation of the day has made people believe that if they are nice to women one day, women will be satisfied.
